I got hooked up with EA through contacts at Glass Eye to Phil Shenk, who was Art Director at the time. I got hired as Environment Artist, and worked on UXO, essentially, Ultima Online 2. I worked with the world builders creating assets for each level. I really spent most of my time working under Andy Dombroski, who was the Lead World Builder, but Phil Shenk kept the style in order, and kept us on target. I learned a lot of interesting things working here, and Origin Systems didn't seem to be under the usual EA stresses seen in California. I am still in contact with the guys I worked with; very good, talented people were there.
