Compulsive Development/ Glass Eye Entertainment,
Austin, TX 1999- 2002 (full time and contract)
Production Artist
I met the gang of Glass Eye through a listing for a 3d artist on the Glass Eye Entertainment website. We worked on Microsoft Casino, but eventually, because of associations with other clients, some of us at Glass Eye split off to create Compulsive Development, to finish the project. The second release became Bicycle Casino, which offered more games, more characters, and better interaction with the player. The game was sprite based, so the environments and characters were rezzed up and full of ray tracing, textures, and materials. These were fun, but rendering took some time. I also modeled and animated the intro to Bicycle Cards, which was released not much longer after Bicycle Casino.
